Registered address: 67 Newland Street, Witham, Essex, England, CM8 1AA Company number: 4073964 Contact: hello@plopp.online Built By People Ltd is the data controller for the purposes of the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
--- The short version
Plopp is designed to keep your data on your device. We do not collect your personal data, we do not store it on our servers, and we do not share it with anyone. Everything you log stays on your phone.

--- What data Plopp stores — and where
All data you enter into Plopp — including log entries, profile information, and settings — is stored locally on your device using your phone's built-in storage. This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to Built By People Ltd or any third party. This includes: Bowel movement log entries (type, consistency, notes, date and time) Profile information (name, profile type, avatar) App settings and preferences Subscription status (stored locally on your device) If you delete the app, all your data is deleted with it. We have no copy of it and cannot recover it for you.

We do not collect: Your name, email address, or any contact information Your location Your device identifiers or advertising IDs Usage analytics or crash reports Any data through cookies or tracking technologies within the app
--- Health data
The information you log in Plopp is health-adjacent in nature. Under UK GDPR, health data is a special category of personal data that requires a higher level of protection. Because all data is stored exclusively on your own device and is never transmitted to or processed by Built By People Ltd, we do not process your health data. You are the sole controller of your own logs.
--- In-app purchases and subscriptions (Plopp Plus) If you subscribe to Plopp Plus, your payment is processed by Apple through the App Store. Built By People Ltd does not receive or store your payment card details. We use RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc.) to manage subscription status. RevenueCat receives a pseudonymous identifier to verify whether your subscription is active. Plopp displays affiliate product recommendations. These are managed via a remote configuration file hosted at plopp.online. When you tap an affiliate link, you are directed to a third-party retailer's website via a redirect at plopp.online/go/. We do not track which affiliate links you tap, and we do not receive any personal data about you as a result of these clicks. If you make a purchase on a third-party site, that site's own privacy policy applies.

Plopp includes profile types for children and babies. These profiles are intended to be created and managed by a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect any personal data relating to children, and as all data is stored on-device, no such data is transmitted to us. If you are under 13, please ask a parent or guardian to set up and manage Plopp on your behalf.
--- Your rights under UK GDPR Under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, you have the following rights in relation to your personal data: The right to access — you can request a copy of any personal data we hold about you The right to rectification — you can ask us to correct inaccurate data The right to erasure — you can ask us to delete your data The right to restrict processing — you can ask us to limit how we use your data The right to data portability — you can ask for your data in a portable format The right to object — you can object to how we use your data Because Plopp stores all data locally on your device and we hold no personal data about you on our systems, most of these rights are exercised directly through the app or by deleting the app from your device. If you believe we hold any personal data about you (for example, through a support enquiry you sent us), please contact us at hello@plopp.online and we will respond within 30 days.
